The rapid spread of the coronavirus and the associated cancellation of trade fairs and major events forces many travelers to cancel and rebook at short notice. In order to meet the increased need for flexibility in travel planning, we have adapted our cancellation conditions to the current situation.

Due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus, we are currently experiencing an increase in cancellation and rebooking requests. In order to process all requests as quickly as possible, we ask that in urgent cases only you contact us by telephone.

Should the planned arrival date of your booking be more than 7 days in the future, a friendly e-mail will help us to process your request in the best possible way.

Guests who booked a stay scheduled to arrive prior to April 30, 2020 may modify their reservation for future travel through end of April, 2021 without charge. The same applies to guests who are refused entry or exit from a country.

Guest who booked a stay scheduled to arrive between March 17, 2020 and for the period ending on April 01, 2020 may modify (as above) or cancel their reservation and be refunded without penalty.

Guests residing in an area designated by the WHO as a risk area can modify or cancel hotel stays free of charge to any date within the current year.

Affected areas:

  • Italy
  • Iran
  • China
  • South Korea
  • France
  • Tyrol / Austria
  • City of Madrid / Spain
  • USA (State of California, Washington and New York)
  • Egypt

Please note modification is subject to availability and may result in a different pricing. To modify your stay, please contact the reservation department of the respective hotel.

For stays booked through online travel agencies or other external travel agencies, please contact your booking provider directly.

Please note: Special cancellation conditions apply for group bookings.

And for the record:
